MY STORY

My passion for culture and my desire to inspire others to explore new cultures is deeply rooted in my childhood. As an "army brat" for roughly the first half of my life, I had the opportunity to travel, experience a variety of new cultures and visit many museums, the majority of them art museums. By "visit many museums" I mean my parents hauled my brother and me to every museum they knew, insisting we get an out-of-classroom education. This experience would later manifest into a formal education in Art History.

Even as a child I was aware of the power of art, and I firmly believe art has the potential to help break cultural boundaries, thus inspiring a global understanding among individuals from all walks of life. This can't happen if people are unable to explore and enjoy art; if they feel the art world isn't their world. My belief is that as more people begin to find and embrace their role within the art community, the more people can be inspired and influenced by new cultures. 

My goal as an aspiring art curator is to foster a global understanding and provide accessible art experiences one exhibition at a time.
